- Game Changer is a realistic fiction book about a boy named Teddy who plays football. He and his friends go to a summer football camp for the high school they will be going to next year. One day they are at practice and it is burning hot outside but the coaches still make them practice, little did they know at the end of practice their was going to be a hitting parade and a scrimmage from all of the incoming freshmen. The scrimmage comes and apparently the seniors that coach the scrimmage have prizes for the hardest tackle and other awards. All of the players want to win the hitting parade so bad that Teddy starts talking bad about Ethan to put him down. While Ethan has enough of this and decides to get revenge he runs straight at Teddy and has a huge hit Teddy gets up, but at the end of practice he collapses and gets rushed to the hospital where he lies in a coma for weeks.
