Candy tells the men that something has happened , so they go to check it out then they see Curley's wife's body and Curley is furious and wants to kill Lennie because he knows he did it then George comes in and tell Curley that Lennie didn't mean no harm and that he doesnt know his own strength
Conflict
The main conflict is between George and Lennie they both start of as Lennie getting in trouble with guys in weed because he wanted to touch a girls red dress and how they are always getting fired from jobs because of something stupid that he does so they always need to migrate to other areas and find new jobs. Some other conflict is that when Lennie fights back when Curley is punching him and beating becaus he thought that he was laughing at him.
Their goal is to become financially stable enough to own property and be their own bosses, but to accomplish this, they first need to establish a stable way of surviving. The other characters echo this struggle to attain stability through their own worries about their social and financial statuses.
Resolution
Brings us back to the exposition's setting reader's can tell Lennie feels guilt when the rabbit appears because they will never be able to have a little piece of land of their own
George is able to find Lennie first as he went to the brush and distracts him by talking about their dreams and then George pulls out a gun and keeps going about their dream and then shoots him in the back of Lennie's head
