- Throughout the book Montag goes through a lot of character development and he really starts to wonder about his purpose and what is right and wrong .

- Montag has multiple issues with technology like the seashells , the walls , and the mechanical hound ,
- Theme
- In this dystopian book society as a whole is pretty lost normal things we do now like talk and communicate in public . Montag in this book starts to realize and tries to break away from the " Normal" of his world .
- In the beginning Montag finds more comfort in man made things rather than nature
- the theme of Fahrenheit can interpreted differently by everyone but the main theme to me is censorship . Every person in Fahrenheit has lived their entire lives in the censorship of the government . Even going as far as to offing people who know to much .
