One day, there lived a guy named Cain, he went to a park near his house in order to leave his garbage behind,. He does this quite often, and it was never an issue for him to think about since the garbage man would just come and get it after a couple of hours.
I will just leave my garbage here
More ever, I didn't know that leaving my garbage there was a bad thing to do! This is definitely a moral lesson for me. thinking back on what the old man said, I realized that I could or may hurt a lot of people because of the contaminated smell.
And while he was leaving his garbage, A man came to confront him.
ah! I'm sorry!
Kid! you shouldn't throw your garbage anywhere. that is a bad thing to do! you will only hurt the community as well as the ecosystem! put it in the garbage can near us instead!
Cain immediately understood what the old man said and did what the old Man wanted him to do, so he threw his garbage in the garbage can while the old man observed him in the back
LEVEL OF THINKING : APPLICATION/APPLY COMPREHENSION/UNDERSTAND
LEVEL OF THINKING :ANALYSIS/ANALYZE (that he was wrong)
why did I even think of throwing my garbage there in the first place?
Later that evening, Cain went inside his room and reflected on what the old Man said.
ah, I shouldn't have thrown the garbage there, it was embarrassing getting yelled at in a public place
A couple of years later, Cain was already a successful man, he went to take a stroll on the park along with his child who was holding a potato chip in his right hand.
LEVEL OF THINKING : KNOWLEDGE/REMEMBERING
this was exactly the place where I was reprimanded by an old man for throwing my trash.
he then remembered what the old Man said when he was young. and noticing the potato chip in his son's hand, he knew what he had to do as an adult.
LEVEL OF THINKING : SYNTHESIZE/CREATE (He taught his child the same way as he was taught by the old man, he passed unto his son what he had understood and applied, he created a legacy in which his son will soon teach to his own children. )
yes, As an adult, he had to teach his child how to properly throw his waste just like how he was taught by the old man when he was young. He was indeed enlightened by what the old man said, so now, he thought that it would be better to teach his child to become someone whom he failed to become in the past. hopefully like Cain in this story, other kids reading this comic strip may be able to know the value of proper waste disposal management and they too may realize the eminence of doing the said action.
wow! Okay dad!
Son, After eating your chips you should put the wrapper in the garbage can, okay? in that way, you can be able to help our economy and make our community a safer place too
