The main function of the brain is to release hormones & process information. The main function of nerves is to send information from the brain through the body. The brain & nerves along with the spinal cord make up the Central Nervous System which controls most of the body. The main function of the muscular system is movement The main function of the skeletal system is body support, facilitation of movement and protection of internal organs.
SWISHHHHHHHHH!
To make a shot like I just did, your whole body need to work together
If one system in your body doesn't work, nothing will
Your brain sends a message through nerves (Nervous System)to the muscles (Muscular System) which then contract and moves the bones (Skeletal System). This is how the body moves to shoot and dribble the ball.
Brain Structure: The Cerebellum is located under the Cerebrum. The Cerebrum is the largest part of the brain and is composed of right and left hemispheres. The Brainstem acts as a relay center connecting the Cerebrum to the Spinal Cord. Nerves: The Axons are bundled together into groups called fascicles, and each group is wrapped in a layer of connective tissue called the Perineurium.Muscles: The Skeletal muscle moves bones and other structures. The Cardiac muscle contracts the heart to pump blood. The Smooth muscle tissue that forms organs like the stomach and bladder changes shape to facilitate bodily functions. Bones: Compact bone tissue is composed of osteons and forms the external layer of all bones. Spongy bone tissue is composed of Trabeculae and forms the inside of all bones.
Multiple Sclerosis: A disease that affects the Central Nervous System (brain and spinal cord)The immune system attacks nerve fibers and causes communication problems between the brain and the rest of the body.MS can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerves.Symptoms Include: vision loss, fatigue, trouble walking, slurred speech, pain and poor bladder and bowel controlThere is no cure for MS but treatments such as medicine and therapy can improve symptoms
Model Difficulties:1. Finding the correct rope to attach to the arm to make it move2. Getting the stick (spine) to attach to the body without it falling offModel Limitations:1. Finding the materials to represent all the different parts of the systems2. Cost
