in our opening scene we see our protagonist laying down asleep and then we see a battery life bar at the bottom of the screen and it goes down when the phone alarm goes off with his fed up expression, the alarm sound stays and carries on into the intro graphic
Gaming scene
Our character turns off his alarm and notices its been going off for a few minutes and turns it off we then see him load up his pc to join a meeting
Our protag has a meeting on zoom with his teacher after oversleeping in his lesson due to stress and because hes behind all the work and his battery decreases, we then see him open his assignments to say due 2 weeks ago etc..
The Last graphics
We see our protag to multiple things in a montage that raise or decrease his stress battery such as He plays on the pc with his friends and it raises his battery due to doing something calming and he gets more stressed when he gets sent loads of work from his teacher
Throughout the film we see the character progress and get more and more drained and we can see he has no emotions whatsoever to show the progression and deterioration of his mental well being, this is then followed by effects of low mental wellbeing and the distancing away, lack of determination and confidence etc... this is shown through characters trying to see if he's okay but he doesn't respond
The last graphics are showing statistics and the like about mental health and how its such an important issue and how it cannot be over looked, it will also show how the pandemic has had an impact on it and how it changes people like our protag in the short film
