- In this scene duke Orsino asks Cesario to go and declare his love for lady Olivia and don't leave until he talks to her
- in this scene after a lot of convincing Cesario finally gets lady Olivia to take off her veil and confirm she is the head of the house. He declares the love of his master, oliva isn't impressed and turns out to take a liking to Cesario himself.
- in this scene, Olivia sends her servant Malvolio after Cesario to give him a ring which he never gave her but tells Malvolio to give I back to him hoping he would return and as a love sign
