- Mrs. Phelps notices Matilda's gift, but does not say anything. Instead, she gives her a library card and books to read.
- Agatha, give my Jenny back her house!
- Mr. Wormwood, Matilda's father, is very cruel and abusive to his young daughter.
- You will pay me your salary for the next 10 years!
- EXAMPLE 2
- Matilda devises and executes a plan to help Miss Honey get her house back from Miss Trunchbull.
- No! It can't be!
- Miss Trunchbull made Miss Honey her slave and cheated her by taking away the house and money that was owed to her.
