- fort sumter was the beginnging battle of the war even though no one died in thbattle we still have to call it the first battle so what stared this battle was a sunion ship on the ocean and the south saw it and thought it was an attack but it realy wasnt and the union was not prepaid for this so the union had no choice but to surrender

- this battle was fought in south west tenisee and this battle was the first battle with large deaths and suffing this was a unuion victory. duuring the day of the battle the south was driving the union back twords pitsburg landing and was going to trap them aganstgsnt the tennisee river soliders on both sides had no expirence in battle in this battle
