- This story is about a feud of two Royal families of equal ranks, dealing with a long lasting vendetta. The children of these families fall in love, but their love comes with a tragic death and ends their parents' fights.
- Act 1 Scene 3
- Two Capulet servants are joking and presence a quarrel between two servants from the rival house of Montague. The ruler of Verona , Prince Escalus, appears and he is angry about he is seeing and warns that the next offender will receive a death penalty.
- Act 1 Scene 4
- Count Paris meets with Capulet to ask for permission to marry his daughter, Juliet. Capulet says that she is to young, but will allow it. So, Capulet gives young Paris an invitation to a party he is giving that night.
- Act 1 Scene 5
- Juliet, her mother, and her nurse are talking about marriage. Lady Capulet is trying to convince Juliet that Paris will make a great husband. Juliet wasn't too happy about her mothers' advice.
- Romeo and his friend Mercutio and Benvolio want to join the procession, they used masks so they won't be recognized as Montagues. Romeo is sad, since Juliet hasn't corresponded to his love. Also, Romeo dreamed about problems and senses trouble.
- Romeo and Juliet finally meet and he falls in love at first sight. Tybalt recognizes Romeo's voice and threatens to kill Romeo. Capulet demands Tybalt to act like a gentleman. Tybalt leaves, but promises revenge. Romeo and Juliet have their first kiss.
