- They were sent on death marches where they were force to walk for miles to the place that they would be killed.
- During the Adana Massacre of 1909, around 30,000 Armenians were killed in the city of Adana.
- The Armenian Genocide went on for 3 years and by the end, around 1.5 million Armenians were killed.

- Reparations were supposed to come from the Turkish government but they refuse to call the event a genocide and there are laws passed to avoid it being taught as a genocide. Countries such as the US also don't refer to the event as a genocide.
- This event was not announced publicly by a public authority, their goal was not to reestablish peace, no innocent lives were at danger, and no non-violent methods were attempted before they went to violence which means the event doesn't meet the criteria for jus ad bellum.
- In this event, neutral targets were attacked and killed, those who surrendered were killed, and evil weapons such as mass rape were use. This means that the event doesn't meet the criteria for jus in bellum.
