What Have I Learned

- In this course I was constantly learning new things all year. I thought I had a pretty good grasp on how we as humans interact and what we are like, but this course taught me so much more. Not only did we get to learn about the career aspect of it but how genuine the people are in this line of work, as they try to preserve as much as they possibly can while still learning.
- What I was not expecting was how many different careers all tie into it. So, then it should not have come as a surprise when we focused on evolution, agricultural practices, cultures and economics of various places. I think that in the future this class has set me up to be a lot more open minded and understanding of other cultures as they all have various reasons and stories.
- Five years from now I am likely to remember the research methods and branches of anthropology and also how to apply it. But also, how deep of a study it really is to understand people, but we are all so vastly different in some respects. It would be very hard to forget.
