Storyboard Text

  • FAVORITE QUOTE from THE GIRL WHO DRANK THE MOON
  • Loyal, kind-hearted, and lyrical Glerk often quotes "the poet" when trying to explain his emotions or thoughts. Xan has encouraged Fyrian to believe that he is a "Simply Enormous Dragon" and that she and Glerk are just giants rather than tell Fyrian that he is tiny. Glerk knows that Xan often lies or "bends the truth" but that she does so out of love and concern. She only lies when she thinks she is protecting someone from sorrow or heartache. Glerk is usually the voice of reason but he also goes along with Xan's stories because he believes in the love and kindness behind her motives.
  • “‘The path to Truth is in the dreaming heart,’ the Poet tells us.”
