Alexander the greats father(King Philip) was the first to rule, he defended his country before taking over other countries until he died. Where Alexander the great took over
After his Fathers death, Alexander went to Destroy Thebes and enslave Athenian people. He used this so the rest of Greece would not try and revolt and so they could just let him take over.

Alexander the great then went to take on Persia. He knew how big their army was but he was confident and won. He then went to cut a rope that said whoever cut it would be the king of Egypt. This gave him even more confidence to keep fighting
The Egyptians seen Persia defeat, and they surrendered without a fight.
