- Ahhhhh!!! Oh no- RUN!
- Go and get the נביאי הבעל and bring to נחל קישון, where I will kill them. Don't let any escape!
- He sends a נער to look out towards the sea- because that is where the rain cloud will first form.
- Yes! I see a small cloud, the size of a fist forming!!!
- Eliyahu goes up to Har Carmel and davnes to Hashem for Him to bring the rain right away so the nation could see the immediate effects of their teshuvah.
- The seventh time Eliyahu asks- "Do you see any signs of rain?"
- Eliyahu tells Achav to go home because “קול המון הגשם” the voice/sound of a lot of rain. (there will be a lot of rain soon). Then Eliyahu runs ahead of Achav, he shows him respect because Achav doesn't question Eliyahu or Hashem, he even leaves because he believes rain will come.
- Eliyahu learns that איזבל is trying to kill him so he runs away to באר שבע where she has no power and can't hurt him. Then he goes into the desert and sleeps. An angel wakes him twice to tell him to eat and drink for his journey. He travels 40 days and nights to הר חרב.

- I can't believe the nation is sinning again right after that huge miracle! I'm so discouraged, maybe I shouldn't be Navi anymore!
- Eliyahu goes out to the mountains edge and a strong wind, earthquake, and fire pass him but Hashem wasn't in those. Hashem appeared to him in a “קול דממה דקה” a soft voice to teach Eliyahu not to deal with the nation in a destructive way like he has been doing, but rather in a mercyful way.
- I'm so angry at Bnei Yisrael, Hashem, and Achav that I can't even understand what Hashem is trying to tell me.
