- I am an American immunologist as well as an assistant professor at the Harvard Radcliffe institute.
- So whats your job/ Profession?
- I grew up in North Carolina with a huge family that consisted of many step siblings. In high school I realized I want to pursue science
- Where did you grow up and when did you decide science ?
- I attended the university of Maryland as well as the University of North Carolina where I received my PHd in Microbiology
- What college did you go to after high school?
- After receiving a visit from the president we started working on a vaccine and with the help of the knowledge we gained in the past 6 years, created a vaccine in only 10 months
- What relation do you have to the Covid Vaccine?
- What does the vaccine do?
- It teaches the body to defend itself from the virus by allowing the body to detect it by only seeing the spike protein of it. The body then knows to fight against it.
- Do you know if your vaccine is being used?
- Yes absolutely, more than 6.5 million Americans have already received its first dose and the number is only growing.
