- Lizabeth was heartbroken because of the neighbor hood kids stealing her gapes from her fathers grape tree. It meant a lot to her due to it being the last thing he planted before he died and it made her very happy. as the kids grabbed the grapes and laughed and teased her it took her back to her childhood of what she did to Miss Lottie and her Beautiful marigolds
- Lizabeth could still remember it like it was yesterday. She had ruined poor old Miss Lottie's Marigolds out of anger and back then she saw the Marigolds nothing but nonsense and some old flower. But now that she was older she understood the look of Miss Lottie's face when she saw her poor Flowers ruined. She understood the pain Miss Lottie had felt that day and she knew it was terrible
- The next day she decided to try and contact Miss Lottie and apologize for what she had done. Luckily she found miss Lottie and apologized to her and even offered to try and start a new garden of Marigold with her. Of course Miss Lottie was very happy to see Lizabeth grow up and realize her mistakes and then and there agreed to start a new chapter with Lizabeth
