Storyboard Text

  • Cranberries are the number one agricultural crop in Massachusetts. There are over 14,000 acres of cranberry bogs throughout the state!
  • Due to its vast coastline, the Northeast has easy access to all kinds of fish. Maine is known for its lobster, and Maryland is known for its crabs.
  • The Northeast is covered by thick woods or forests. Because of this, trees are an enormous natural resource and Maine has one of largest shipping ports for lumber in the United States.
