That night after school
Anna is a girl in school that gets nervous about her grades. Mr. Frank said that "yesterday they started an essay about something that is facts about two subjects and how they show there differences for example cats vs dogs, and you will be presenting your essay tomorrow and that This will be the last assignment of the year for this unit".
Okay, but how is this supposed to help me
I researched about a growth and fixed mindsets when I was a kid Here look
Anna was not there to start her essay so she was worried because she did not think she could finish in time and that she won't get a good mark. Anna thought of what she could do for her essay but she was to nervous to think. Anna wished it could of been a math test because she always does great at math.
I should do my essay on growth vs fixed mindsets
Anna just had butterfly's in her stomach, the thought of failing this essay scared her. Anna noticed that she felt like she was gonna be sick to her stomach. She felt like just giving up and she started to doubt how good she was at other things too.
c-
I have to stay calm and get my mark
Anna figured out that she wanted to do her essay on growth and fixed mindsets. Anna researched about a growth and fixed mindset. She saw something that said growth mindsets are people that believe you can develop talent but a fixed mindsets are people that believe that you are born either with talent or without. Anna was doubting herself she thought she had no chance but her mom gave her an idea.
The idea was that she can do her essay on growth vs fixed mindsets, so she worked for two hours on it before she finished it. Anna found some amazing information about it. She knew that this information can be important as she gets older.
After the presentation she realized that growth mindsets are more open to trying new things and fixed mindsets stick to what there good at without taking risks.Anna ended up getting a c- on her essay, and she learned to try to have more trust in her abilities. Anna started to have more of a growth mindset after that, which caused her to be more happier and take more risks! The End.
