- Old Major dies three nights later.
- *Napoleon takes Old Major's place along side him Squealer and Snowball*The Pigs scheduled meetings to prepare for the rebellion and taught the others.These three had elaborated old Major’s teachings into a complete system of thought, to which they gave the name of Animalism.
- *Mr. Jones and his men begun to neglect his farm. The animals became angry**Mr. Jones went into Willingdon and got so drunk at the Red Lion that he did not come back till midday on Sunday.**He comes home drunk …forgets about his animals that need to be fed and goes straight to the sofa*
- The Rebellion Taking place
- One of the cows broke in the door of the store-shed with her horn and all the animals begun to help themselves from the bins.Mr. Jones and his men then tried to punished the animals but with no avail. The animals retaliated and chased the people off the farm.
- * The animal set fire to everything that reminded them of Mr. Jones, Humans and rejoiced.
