- During the King's party, a mysterious figure appeared before them*
- Sir Gawain accepted the challenge himself in place of King Arthur.
- Stood before them is the Green Knight and announced his challenge but for him, its more like a little fun game where the challenger must hit him with his own axe and after exactly 1 year, and receive a blow as exchange.
- Sir Gawain Returned to the castle wearing the girdle on his arm as a symbol of failure then got surprised by his knights that also wears girdles on their arms as a sign of support for him.
- Sir Gawain spent nights in the woods battling beasts of all sorts just to search for the Green Knight.
- While travelling, he saw a castle in his peripheral vision and approached the castle immediately.
- There he was welcomed by the lord together with his wife, and an old lady
- The lord proposed a deal where they will go hunting and exchange what they got but sir Gawain would only be allowed inside and the back of the castle
- On the Second day, The lord hunted a wild boar and Sir Gawain received two kisses on the lord's wife and they exchanged
- On the first day, the lord hunted a herd of does and Sir Gawain received a kiss from the lord's wife which he got when the wife came inside his chamber and seduced him so Sir Gawain gave the lord a kiss and received the herd of does
