- Series II test, post-surgery
- Yeah I heard it was the same tubes from the previous test but the location is different. There are also wires connected to this catheter which makes me feel uncomfortable.
- This is really something! They've put another catheter in our mouth. This time it is in the external surface of our gill arch. What are they thinking!?
- Series II test, post-surgery
- Look they are injecting something in the wires connected to us. I see! They are injecting us increasing ammonia from 0.01 to 1mM directly to the surface of our 1st gill arches.
- I can feel a weird feeling again! I'm feeling sleepy and tired. I think this time was different because the ammonia perfused onto the surfaces of the first pair of gill arches would likely have been diluted by ventilated water which would quickly flush it away.
- Series II test, post-surgery
- I know this feeling! We're showing signs of hypoventilation! It is because of the low intake of ammonia into our bloodstream. The good thing is that regardless of the amount they've put us it all feels the same.
- Finally we're on to the third test which is the final test! I wonder what will happen?
- Series III test, post-surgery
- Yeah me too! It is a little bit high and it makes me feel breathless and stressed just like in the first test!
- My head hurts! They drilled our head and injected ammonia directly into our hind brain! I can sense the ammonia in it.
- Series III test, post-surgery
- Are we hyperventilating again!? Wow! It is a new discovery for me that we can also sense ammonia in our brain! It is awesome.
- Yeah! This is the demonstration of central chemo-sensing of ammonia in a teleost fish like us. What will happen to us now after the experiment?

- We are vanishing! They euthanized us!
