  • I...I don't know what to do. I can't do the English assessment. I just can't. Last time I did terribly. I'm sure today will be the same.
  • You alright? You aren't acting like you usually do. You seem really restless and sweaty. Do you have a sore stomach? I am always here for you if you need support.
  • I have just been way too worried to hang out with you guys.
  • Bro what are you doing? What is wrong with you.

  • You boys ok?
  • You might already know this but you're probably suffering from anxiety. You have lots of the common symptoms associated with it. Do you have any family members with mental health issues, because it can be genetic. If you have had trouble sleeping, that can also be a factor.
  • Is that why you haven't hung out with us lately?
  • Yeah. I have had quite severe anxiety for a while now, but the passing of some of my relatives certainly didn't help. My mum gets really bad anxiety, and now I think of it, my dad sometimes gets quite anxious as well. I had trouble sleeping last night and only got a few hours. Do you think I should get it checked out?

  • You should consider seeing a psychologist, and talking to them about you anxiety. They might give you some useful suggestions on how feel better, without nearly as much stress. What I can suggest though is 8 hours or more of sleep, and practicing breathing slowly when you are anxious. Exercise can also help a person clam down, and feel less stressed. Remember, I am always here for you.
  • Thanks so much for your advice. I will definitely look into getting a few sessions with a psychologist. I will also try and put regular exercise into my schedule, and get sleep. I will basically do anything for my anxiety to become less severe.
