- The monsters are due on maple street by Rod Serling, one of the main theme is Fear can make people go crazy because in the first picture in the storyboard shows charlie shooting Pete Van Horn because of the beliefs he was the monster. (on page 83) shows, how far fear can make people go. secondly, the next one shows Les Goodman being accused of being apart of the monsters because his car started which made people add even more information of how he could be apart of them (page 77) this also shows how people try to find the traitor as quickly as possible but without any reasoning of how and why this may have happened which gives even more evidence about how fear can make people go crazy. Lastly the third picture shows Tommy the little boy talks about how the aliens might not want them to leave.(page 75) This also shows that people want to try and make sense of what happpens around them because of fear of the unknown which also would also support my theme. overall all three of these support how fear can people go crazy and they all had a problem in which people were nervous scared because of the use of finding a scapegoat because of the fear of the unknown which is what people do not want because of well, obviously not knowing what is yet to come which makes my theme best describe all three pictures.
