- On page 2 it says," Straight into the bears eyes...hitting the beast in the nose."

- On page 23 it says," Scrawny and muscular yet boyish....Her breasts were small and small and her hips only straightly curved."
- Person versus person is being demonstrated in this photo because it's showing mistress cutler getting upset at lyddie and yelling at her. She eventually fires lyddie and gets upset at her for leaving while no one was in charge.
- Person versus nature is being demonstrated in this photo because it's showing how lyddie has encountered a bear and she faces the bear and has a goal to get it out.
- Person versus self is being demonstrated in this photo because it's showing how lyddie is judging herself and isn't confident in herself. She is judging her appearance and isn't happy with the way she looks.
