- What do you mean, "I didn't pay my debts." I was in war fighting and I come back, to be asked to pay debts when I haven't even gotten payed for fighting!
- We don't have the money to pay you for fighting because I and congress cannot force the states to pay!
- How did this even happen?
- Soldiers who came back from war we're expecting to be paid..But instead they were told they had to pay debts, and congress did not have the money to pay them...

- Lets just pretend there's two hundred of those guys

- A similiar rebellion occured. Shay led a group of 1,200 protestors to rebel for the same cause.
- In 1786, hundreds of armed men stood infront of the courthouse, preventing judges from entering.
