Storyboard Description
It was dark out and Skippy was tired from a long night clearing the trees out from where he planned to build the room for his pet warthog named Wart. The next morning when he woke up, he went down to the stream he had made with a dam he made out of clay. He sat by the water and watched it flow down. He skipped rocks and thought to himself about what he was doing in the jungle and how he got there. He never knew who his family was or what they looked like.
As he got up, he almost stepped on Wart. They walked to the farm he had built and harvested the bananas, berries, and cocoa beans he had planted. Then he climbed up the ladder to his treehouse. When he was at the top of the ladder, he pulled the pulley that he used to make a pulley system to lift Wart. Then he gave his trusty warthog a banana and used the last of the items to make a banana berry and cacao bean smoothie. He used a blender he had fashioned out of wood that he carved and a cranking mechanism made out of bolts.
He grabbed his trusty ax and went to build the rest of Wart’s room.
He sorted the logs... He used the bigger ones to stabilize the room from the floor. He put the short ones together and then started putting them up, but just then a nasty storm came rolling in. Skippy had been tracking it for months. It was so bad! Wart was so scared and Skippy had to comfort him. They tried to go to sleep but they couldn’t so Skippy decided to stay up and fix holes he discovered with the tree sap and wood shavings.
In the morning, Skippy went to the cave to forage for some chain armor and made a sword and an ax. He went down to the stream and chopped down a big tree and started carving it into a boat. He floated down the river and found a village…
Chapter two
The Village
Skippy quickly packed up some stuff including a machete that he made the other day so that he could chop the vines down. He left Wart home to keep him safe and grabbed some food. Then he jumped into his boat and let it float down the river.
Then he saw a dock. Skippy tied up his boat and walked down the dock but he did not get far before he was snatched up by a pair of greasy hands. Before he knew it, he was in a strange house, tied up. The last thing he remembered was being put into a bag and hearing people acting like they didn’t know what to do and then he felt a big smack.
When he came to his senses he was tied to a chair. There were people that were saying “he is just a boy what could he do?” We saw a weapon so we snatched him up. There was a girl that said, “I think he is kind of cute.” They untied Skippy and gave him some food. Skippy told them “I just wanted to see what this place was. I don’t know who my family is.” Then they played together and they showed him the village and it became dark. They said, “you should go back now but come back tomorrow.” Skippy replied, “okay I will and I can bring my pet warthog. His name is Wart.” Then he left into the darkness up the stream and through the night mist to his house.
