Storyboard Text
- After Atalanta's father had a female child, he was severely disappointed. He was wanting and expecting a male. Due to this, her father left her on the top of a wild mountain. However, she was raised by a shebear and hunters.
- After growing up, she boards the Argo. The great adventure of the golden fleece. Almost immediately after boarding a man named Meleager falls in love with her. They would go on to hunt a beast together.
- After the Quest of the Golden Fleece, the two found themselves hunting a large boar in a hunting party. They were the only two that wounded the boar. Atalanta shooting it with an arrow and Meleager delivering the final blow. Atalanta's uncles denied her the right to its skin.
- This hunt, sadly, leads to Meleagers death. After the uncles shamed Atalanta and denied her the boar skin, Meleager was furious. This led to him killing the uncles. This set his mother into a rage in which she burned him and the boar skin.
- Atalanta ended up reconciling with her father. He finally learned that his wish for a boy led him to do terrible things. He also learned to accept her for who she is. They developed a healthy relationship because of this.
- Atalanta had conditions to marry her. Someone would have to beat her in a foot race. However, Aphrodite gave a man 3 glorious apples that made Atalanta attracted to them and lose the race. After this, Atalanta and her husband were turned to lions as a punishment. The reason for this is they made love within a temple of Cybele.
