- This is Gender theory because Macbeth is calling his wife his love because she is a lady which Lady Macbeth calls Macbeth by a leader name because he has the power while she doesn't.
- ACT III Scene iv Line 70
- Are you a man?
- Lady Macbeth is fixing what Macbeth messed up with the plan by taking the lead and putting the daggers with Duncans body to look like someone else killed him. This is gender because Macbeth should have been the man and done this but instead Lady Macbeth did.
- ACT IV Scene iii Line 259-261
- Despite it like a man.I shall do so, But I must also feel it as a man.
- Lady Macbeth was taking all the attention away from the conversation because she was helping Macbeth. This is gender theory because she is being a lady by trying to get all the attention from everyone.
- ACT V Scene viii Line 17-20
- Despite thy charm, And let the angle whom thou still hast served Tell thee Macduff was from his mother's womb Untimely ripped.
- Lady Macbeth is question wether or not Macbeth is a man because of his actions he makes and doesn't know how to defend them. This is gender because Macbeth is being told he isn't manly enough because Lady Macbeth has to cover up for his actions.
- This scene is showing that Malcolm was telling Macduff that he can't have emotions because he needs to be tough like a man would after getting the news about his family. This is gender because its saying how men can't be sad or show any emotions.
- This is gender because Macduff is telling Macbeth that he isn't safe from him because he wasn't born out of his mothers womb because he was a c-section. So technically he isn't born a women because of that.
