- Do you wanna skip first period and go smoke some weed?

- No, it just makes you get stoned. It'll make you feel chill and happy, you'll probably laugh and talk a lot. There is a few risks though.

- Layla was confronted by her friend Brandon and was invited to skip first period to smoke some weed.
- Identify Your Values
- Layla asks Brandon if anything bad happens when you smoke weed and Brandon tells her that it makes you feel chilled out and happy, he also says that it can make you giggly and chatty. He also told her that there are a few downsides to smoking which is that it can mess up your respiratory system, there's also risks of getting cancer and other diseases. It's also illegal.
- Decide and Act
- Brandon left and told her to decide. First she thought "is it healthy" her answer was no. Then she thought "is it legal" again her answer was no. Then she asked herself "would my parents approve" and her answer was no. She had two choices. 1: she could smoke weed and possibly get caught and get in big trouble with the cops and her parents or 2: she could politely say no and go on with her life.
- Evaluate and Reflect
- Layla thinks that if she chooses not to smoke weed, Brandon is going to think that she's a loser but she remembers how her mom told her never make a decision based on fear.
- Layla decides that she's not going to smoke weed and she try's to convince Brandon not to either. She tells him although it make him feel good there are more negative things that could happen than just that one positive.

- yes, and I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to refuse your offer. I just don't think its a good idea because...
- Brandon decides not to smoke the weed either and they both go home happy and in no trouble than they would've been if they had smoked the weed.
- I'm so glad we didn't skip class to go smoke. We would've been in so much trouble!
