- Pony boy was a kid in a gang called the Greaser. He went to the movie theater alone when he was not supposed too. He didn't think anything bad was going to happen. The Greaser were on the poor side of town, they didn't have nice clothes and they always had grease hair. The Socs were a gang on the rich side of town they always had nice clothes, big house and fancy things.
- Pony boy was jumped by 5 Socs. Pony boy didn't even think that Socs we be outside the movie theater. Pony boy was not supposed go alone and his brothers found him walking home with blood all over him. Pony was so scared that he didn't go anywhere with out his brothers. The Socs continued to jumped the Greaser. The Socs and Greaser we gang who hated each other, they always were fighting.
- Pony boy and Johnny were walking by a water fountain and then then gang of Socs came. One of the Socs tried to drowned pony boy and Johnny pulled out his pocket knife and killed one of the Socs. Pony boy and Johnny did kn ow what to do so they ran home and told their brothers. Their brothers help them shave all their hair off and they went a hid in an old abandon church.

- Pony boy and Johnny hid in a abandon church. They did want to get caught so they stayed in a church. After awhile they didn't want to hide from the Police anymore so they wanted to turn themselves in but couldn't because after they left kids went into the church and it caught on fire, the Greaser's thought that the Socs started the fire. Johnny ran into the church to helped get the kids out but a burning log fell on Johnny and he had to go to the hospital.
