- Polly, your husband is in critical condition and he may not make a full recovery
- On a late night in August, John Busby was pulled over in a patrol car watching the road when he saw a car speeding down the road and then pulled into the dirt patch that he was parked in.

- Suddenly John felt a sharp pinch in the middle of his face and heard ringing in his ears, from the impact he was flung into the passenger seat where he felt blood dripping down what was left of his face. As he got up he heard the screeching of tires going farther and father away. He had been shot and he knew who had done it and that it was not an accident.

- I heard your mom and my dad talking and they said the reason your dad cant talk is cause he is gonna die.

- When Polly became aware of the information of John she rushed to the hospital to find him in poor condition.

- After 4 days Cylin, Eric and Shawn came to visit but all Shawn and Cylin could think is who is this man and where was their dad.
