- When her dream was deferred "it dried up like a raisin in the sun"
- Jenny's dream was to work as a news anchor for Fox News. But after her interview she got REJECTED.
- I just got rejected from my dream job!
- When her dream was deferred "it festered like a sore"
- What am I gonna do here now? I will be here forever.
- Now Jenny was unemployed and living in her parent's basement.
- When her dream was deferred "it stank like rotten meat"
- Jenny began to lose who she was. She no longer cared about her mind or body.
- I don't want to work out any more. I do not even want to shower.
- Now that Jenny's dream has been put on hold she "crusts and sugar over, like a syrupy sweet"
- All I do is sleep, eat, and repeat. When will my life change?
- Jenny begins to binge on snacks and watch TV all day. She no longer cares about life.
- Jenny's dream is completely ignored now. She begins to "sag like a heavy load"
- I gained all this weight. I look like a disgusting pig.
- Jenny becomes overweight and depressed . She hated seeing herself in the mirror.
- "Or does it explode?"
- But then Jenny discovers the power of social media! She connects with others online and then regains her confidence when she becomes a social media influencer.
- I love social media. I can finally express myself and be able to help others
