- God spoke to Noah telling him how upset he was and that he was going to punish them all by summoning a flood to flush all the bad people out.

- God commanded Noah to build an ark and prepare for the flood. Noah started to build the ark with the assistance of his family. Noah was 600 years old when he finished the ark God told Noah to build the ark out of gopher wood, 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high.
