In Canaan there is a famine and not enough grassland for their sheeps and livestock. Jacob packs up his tribe and they all go to Egypt because they have a surplus of food such as grains and good grassland for the livestock.
Waaaaaaa!!!!!
Don't be scared
You poor little baby. Oh I am here and I will keep you. I am the princess of Egypt.
When the Hebrew people arrived at Egypt, Jacob went to the palace to give his respects to the the king and queen. When Jacob told them why they had come to this land the king and queen were very welcoming and was happyto have them .
Now your people will work harder
Um... No!!
The king of Egypt noticed that the Hebrew tribe population is getting bigger and he is afraid that one of them might rise up agianst him. So he desides that no Hebrew bay boy shall live and enslaved all the people. Moses was born and his parents decided that they would put him in a basket in the Nile River hoping that someone would find little baby Moses.
Every single baby boy in Egypt is dead you may take your people and GO!!
MOSES!!!
YES!!
The princess of Egypt found little baby Moses in a basket floating around in the Nile River. She has decided to keep the baby and is going to raise it in the palace as one of her own.
Moses has grown up in the Egyptian palace. After he he had accidently killed someone he left the palace and found out that he is a Hebrew. He goes back to the palace and asks the king to let his people go. But the king refuses and makes his people work even harder than they are working . So he goes to god and God sends the angle of death.
I have just found out that I am a Hebrew and please let my people go!!
The angle of death came at night and killed all of the Egyptian babies and the only way that the angle of death would not know to kill the Hebrew babies by putting lambs blood at the top of their door. When the king wakes up he tells Moses that he needs to take his people and go and to never come back. Then moses leads his people out of Egypt, heading to Canaan.
