- I want to create a stable financial foundation for the nation and increase the power of the central government. I believe that Americans future lay with the business and that banks and bond markets are both necessary and beneficial.
- I embrace god-given human rights and I oppose their abridgment by government. I believe that liberty and democracy were the greatest virtues a society could strive toward.

- I personally feel deeply sympathetic to the French in Gerald and the revolutionary. The states should charter their own banks and that a national bank unfairly favored wealthy businessesmen In urban areas over farmers in the country
- I support the moderate phase in the revolution. My opinion on the national banks is the constitution granted more powers than those it expressly enumerated.
