- If the Wellspring gets plugged then the ocean will be poisoned beyond repair!
- I will use the Plug to stop the Wellspring from creating anymore stories and then I will be the ruler of all the worlds!
- I am Mali and you can't break me!
- I want Kahani to turn, this very instinct, in such a way that the sun shines down on the Dark Ship, the full hot noonday sun
- I hope he makes it. This is going to take longer than 11 minutes
- Khattam-Shud gives Haroun and Iff a tour of all the machines he is using to destroy the ocean. He then describes how he will plug the Wellspring of stories to prevent any new stories from being created.
- Mali appears and sticks itself to the generator which soon stops working. Haroun seizes this chance to run away by using the Bite-a-Lite and takes Butt's brain from Khattam- Shud
- No, this can't be happening! AHHH!
- Haroun uses one of Khattam-Shud's special swim suits to swim away from the boat to Butt the Hoopoe so that he can return Butt's brain. Then he uses the remaining wishwater that he has to make the sun shine upon Chup city and Khattam-Shud's ship.
- Hooray!
- One Khattam-Shud down and one more to go!
- Haroun Khalifa's wish comes true and Kahani turns rapidly such that the hot noonday sun shines down upon Khattam-Shud's ship which starts becoming a shadow and then starts disappearing as Haroun flys on Butt towards the ship to rescue Iff and Mail.
- Haroun goes back onto the ship to rescue Iff and Mali. On the ship, the chupwalas and the poison starts turning into shadows from the sun's heat. Soon, the ship, the chupwalas, and the poison disappears.
- Haroun, Iff, and Mali escape the ship and cheerfully head to Chup city after having destroyed one of the Khattam-Shuds. However, soon Butt breaks down and they are stranded in the ocean until the plentimaw fish appear to help them.
