- Billy Bob Joe, you are being charged with the kiddnapping and murder of Noah S. Cape. If convicted you will spend one lifetime in jail and be finded 100 thousand dollars. Because of the severity of this case your case will be heard by the Grand Jury of Colorado.
- A criminal is listening to his rights being read to him (due process) and he is at the grand jury because he is being tried for murder. (Indict by Grand Jury.)
- GRAND JURY OF COLORADO
- We should charge him in a different court so they will be more likely to convict Billy Bob Joe!
- I don't have to answer that! I plead the 5th amendment!!
- Billy Bob Joe is saying that he doesn't have to answer the question because it will prove him guilty while the procecuturs family says they will convict him of the same crime again in a different court.
- I am with the government. We're going to take 5 feet of your yard sir.
- Actually we are using it to make a road and you will be compensated for it, so yes, we can take your land.
- Government offical telling a citizen that their lawn will be downsized because of the last part of the 5th amendment and that they will be compensated for the loss.
- You can't do that! I paid for this land, it's mine!
