Rawl's Two Principles
Nozick's Three Principles
MacIntyre's Views
Can anyone please tell me what Rawl's two principles of justice are?
The difference principle ensures that social and economic inequalities are to be arranged so that they are to everyone's advantage and attached to positions open to all
The principle of equal basic liberty for all ensures that each person has equal rights to the most basic liberties
Now how about Nozick's?
The principle of justice in acquisition states thatThe acquisition of something is just if something is previous unowned and the acquisition leaves enough to meet the needs of others
The principle of justice in transfer states thatholding is just if it is acquired through legitimate transfer r through original acquisition
Lastlythe principle of the rectification of injustice in holdings:
An honest attempt will be made to identify legitimate sources of holdings and to compensate the victims.
And MacIntyre views justice as how deserving a person is and bases his views on community not individuals
Very good Tyler! You guys are all ready for the exam but before that let me show you examples of popular ideas from these philosophers
