Miss Strangeworth's Letters
Miss Strangeworth is enjoying her day by walking through her little town and she tells everyone about her family's history with the small town. She stops by the store and talks to Mr. Davis and Mrs. Harper. She also stops when she sees the Crane family while she is in town. People come to find out that she is a judgemental person.
The Dropped Letter
Miss. Strangeworth claimed that this small town that she lived in was hers. Her reasoning for this belief was her grandfather had built the first house on Peasant Street and her grandmother started taking care of the roses in the town, and her mother followed, and now the task had been passed down to Miss Strangeworth.
Delivering the letter
Miss Strangeworth writes letters to people in the town to say things to them that she would not say to their faces. She thought that writing these letters would alert people of the evil in the town.
Destroying Roses
Miss Strangeworth went to the mailbox to send out her letter, but one of them had fallen out and was laying on the ground. Dave Harris sees that the letter falls out of the mailbox and he notices that Miss Strangeworth had put these letters in the mailbox. Dave Harris notices that the letter is for Don Crane so he decides he will just take the letter to him himself. People from the town now know that Miss Strangeworth was the person who made all those cruel letters.
it says it is for Don Crane
Dave Harris delivers the letter to Helen and Don Crane. He wanted to deliver this letter himself because he thought the Crane family deserved some good news. When they Crane family opens the letter and reads that it was hateful they were angry. Dave Harris told them that this letter was supposed to be put in the mailbox by Miss Strangeworth.
This letter is addressed to the Crane family.
The Crane Family was furious that Miss Strangeworth would send a cruel letter to them so they decided that they would destroy her roses because they know how much those roses mean to Miss Strangeworth. After Miss Strangworth sees that her letter made the Crane family very angry she now knows that the evil in the town was her.
