  • Everyone Deserves Liberty and Equality, Even Slaves.The irony of this war is that Americans want freedom for Britain, but won't allow the freedom of slaves. When the war is won, the fight to free slaves will begin.

  • Those who stayed were exposed to the idea of liberty and equality.
