What do I do know? How will I handle her? I feel like I'm gonna burst.
Ma'am what's suppose to be the problem here?
Uhm you see my mother has just been diagnosed with Diabetes ,Type 2. The doctor was trying to tell me the thing that I should know and do in taking care of my mother but someone called me on phone that says it an emergency at the house and it was my mom
And then I came home only to find out that my mother refused to exercise and drink her medicine. Do you know what to do? or know explanations that I can tell her so she could understand.
Well I know few Nursing Responsibilities that I can share with you. First is you have to know the disease itself, hence it was Type 2, there are prescribed medicine that is important for her to take, it will keep her glucose level up to normal. Some exercise include walking but do not let her perform strenuous work.
What about the foods that she'll eat? Since that she have diabetes that does mean she cant eat sweets? too bad she loves eating sweats
Well you see its not that sweets are prohibited but it is important for her to watch for her glucose intake. Sweets can also help her to elevate her glucose level whenever its low but too much sweets is prohibited. You her body might produce glucose but the glucose are just stock to her blood stream so it is important that she also goes for an exercise like walking
ow okay. I will tell her that. Thank you for the information
