Storyboard Text

  • Top-level (executive) management. Managers at this level are responsible for the operation of the entire organization. They are the owners, chief, executive officers, presidents, chief financial officers, vice presidents, and general managers.
  • Last year our business' revenue was great but I think we could do better. I would like to see the numbers go up by 30%. I will also do my part by doing some strategic planning.
  • Middle-level (middle) management. This level of management is responsible for implementing the goals set by top management. Middle managers are the department heads, production managers, salers managers, and district managers.
  • Mrs Central would like to see the company's revenue increase by 30%. Us as the link between top-level and first-line, we need to come up with some good ideas of how we can get more sales.
  • Okay guys this year we need our stores revenue to go up by 30%. The President of our company believes in you all and so do I. In order for us to get more sales we could do some advertisement in the community, promoting on social media, etc.
  • First-line (supervisory) management. First-line managers take the vision one step further and make it happen. They are the ones who are concerned with actually carrying out the actions and plans that the middle managers identified. They are the office manager, floor supervisor, shift supervisor, and team leader.
