- Lev sees his mom be targeted
- His dad pushes him down stairs
- Lev is now in hospital
- One day Lev heard a commotion coming from the upstairs living room. As he climbed up the stairs, the yelling grew louder and louder which caused Lev to grip onto the railing more and more. As he reached the top of the stairs he saw his mother on her knees crying whilst his dad was scolding her. The laughter from his siblings made his blood boil. He was going to make his dad stop until his dad started walking over to him.
- As Lev started backing up his dad increased his speed. Before long, his dad was standing right in front of him with a malicious grin. Lev suddenly felt pressure on his chest and then felt his weight distribute to the back. He tried to grab onto the shiny railing, but it was too late as his feet were already off the hardwood. With the speed he was going, he knew his fall would hurt so he has to prepare for the worst. He felt a sharp pain and everything went black.
- As Lev opened his eyes, he saw the clean atmosphere of the hospital. He saw his mother standing at the end of his bed, holding the end of the bed frame. The throbbing pain in his head was too much, he could feel water emerge in his eyes, and slowly drip onto his cheeks and stain the blanket below. He tried to ask for his mom to grab his hand but his words came out slurred, he was embarrassed and stopped talking. What Lev realized is that you should never try to please anyone, as you'll either end up hurt metaphorically or physically. He promised himself he'll only do things for himself from now on.
