- First off is the liquid and solid form, were going to get a hot latte and a cold cold brew.

- Lastly, is the gas state. There's two different types, this one is evaporation a liquid into a gas, then the other is sublimation which is a solid to gas without passing through the liquid state. If you put your face in the steam you'll feel it almost burn your skin, that's because steam goes through a phase change and the partices have more energy than the particles in the food cooking.

- Hot and coldness are types of energy and when heat melts something cold that's because particles in ice gather heat energy from the hot tempature to be able to break down and melt. Solid has a definite shape but not liquid and liquid and solid has definite volume.
