- I think our ocean stay is going to be extended.
- Dew and his companions get to the ocean as predicted, but something unexpected happens. Dew realizes they get to stay at the ocean longer!
- We get to stay?!
- Yessss!
- I want to go home.
- The beach!
- As they continue to fun, Dew notices it starting to become warmer. By now, he knows what's happening (more evaporation) and tells everyone else. They are disappointed that their vacation is ending, but happy that they got the opportunity to have an (extended) trip to the ocean.
- It looks like we're leaving soon. I can't control evaporation.
- Dew is evaporated. The cloud quickly fills up and becomes heavier. The water condensates, and it starts raining. It looks like Dew is next headed to another lake.
- Cannonball!
- Uggghhh. Why is it always raining?
- Dew is liking his time at the lake, but knows when he's about to move. Some of the water in the lake (including Dew) is pulled in to the ground. It is then filtered through the soil as recharge. Dew (and a few friends) are curious about what's going to happen next.
- I wonder where we're going next...
- I think we might be headed for groundwater.
- Groundwater is right. Dew is in a cramped environment with tons of other water droplets. At least there are some new people. Soon the water starts moving. It filters into a river as discharge. Dew and the others start moving out, and it was none too soon.
- We're moving!
- So cramped...
- Dew moves into the river. As he drifts, he realizes that this is his life and always will be. He hopes to remain in the river for a while, and to explore other parts of the water cycle.
