- Mary knowing if she get´s caught she will be put in prison forever,so she creates an alibi by going to the store for food so she can say she was there during the murder.
- Mary returns and calls the police to tell them that Patrick is dead.
- Mary cooks the lamb leg and gives it to the cops to eat so there isn´t any evidence showing that she killed Patrick.
