- In 1986, there were two brothers that lived on the east side of Berlin Germany. Their names were Norman Brandit and Ray Brandit. And this month was the month that they would try to escape to the the free side of Berlin the west side.
- Climax
- They go out of the house and they take a look at the wall. They know not to get to close to the wall because the German guards were pretty strict. They know exactly how tall and how wide that wall is. And there plan to escape was that they will make a rope out of the cloth from the material from their houses.
- Falling action
- They go inside their house and ripe cloth, and other fabricates they have inside their house. They knew that the Berlin wall the 12 feet high so they had to make a rope that was even taller then that. Then once they finish the rope they stay up till midnight to execute their plan.
- Resolution
- They run outside in pitch black and the only lights they can see are the lights the of guard towers. They are wearing all black cloths so that is would be hard to see them. Now they were right in front of the Berlin wall without being spotted. And once they though there rope up one of the guards stops them and opens fire.
- Bullets wiz past them almost hitting them they climb up the rope like they did it 100 times. they climb up so fast it was hard for the guards to hit them. one of the guards shot Ray in the hand so he had to climb up with one had. Norman makes it up and pulls Ray to the other side. They run and run until they realized that they did it they made it to the west side of Berlin.
- They first thing that they do is go to a hospital to heal Rays hand. They put bandages on his hand and once they let them out of the hospital they go their separate ways to live a happy life on the free side of Berlin.
