- John receives Patricia's requests and chooses a member of his team who will be the shadowing host for Patricia. He concludes that George is the perfect person to be shadowed as he has the capacity and is working closely on the system that Patricia wants to know more about. John approves Patricia's request by email.
- Hi George, would you mind hosting Patricia as your shadowee? She is very interested in your work!
- Of course, I would love to be her host!
- Soon after the shadowee and the host have been matched, they schedule a short discussion about the shadowing activities and when they will meet.
- Yes! Thursday works great for me..
- I have some work to finish next week, so Thursday would be the best time to start the program. What do you think?
- The shadowing can now begin! With George's knowledge and expertise, Patricia will get a good overview of the system and will positively impact her involvement in her future tasks and projects. And who knows, soon her team may be the one who will be shadowed.
