- Moluccas was loyal to Pattimura because he was their brave hero, therefore they refused the offer of 1000 guilders.
- The Dutch used various strategies to conquer the resistance like offering a prize of 1000 guilders to the Moluccas
- Pattimura showed his faith in God even though he faced hard times. For example when he got captured. He sang psalms before his execution.
